Isn’t Christmas time the best?!? And at my house it’s all about family, so I love that that is the theme of my Christmas tree.

I admit I’m not always brilliant, but this idea that I had years ago is pretty great. I’ve always loved holiday cards with people’s photos on them, so when I first got married I was all about it. Since then we have added to our family and have grown…and every year shows our family’s growth throughout the years. From 2004 when Chad and I got married to now adds up to twelve cards so far! Wowza.

 

The trick is to save a holiday card from every year, write the year on it, and make a hanger for it with green wire. This is especially doable if you are engaged or a newlywed, or just really sentimental.
