Day 2: My Whole 30 Journal

Snacking. It’s one of my favorite things to do. And with the Whole 30 challenge, snacking is a bit trickier than usual. Luckily there’s a cool tool called Pinterest! Thanks to Pinterest, I’ve found a lot of great ideas. I just ate a Lemon Larabar and am feeling satisfied. Last night while prepping dinner I ate Bare apples chips. I can do this Whole 30 thing; I just need to stay prepared.

Speaking of last night’s dinner, it was delish! I tracked down an old recipe from Williams Sonoma that I used to make back when I was first married. (12 years ago! Wowza!) Apple-Stuffed Pork Loin with Cider Sauce. It was, of course, delicious. Williams Sonoma is awesome;)

Labor Day weekend has officially arrived. It’s Friday, we’re driving to the lake, I’m doing the Whole 30; what could possibly go wrong?!? Ha ha. Well, I was still hungry after my salad dinner, so at the gas station I bought an Odwalla Mango Tango smoothie. I swear I had the best of intentions, but after drinking it (quickly..yum) I googled whether it was compatible with the Whole 30. Nope. No smoothie-drinks allowed. Whoops.

So I guess I can feel guilty about that and the glass of wine I plan on drinking when we get to the lake. Cheers!
