You glance at the clock. It’s 4:46 PM and you suddenly realize that you have no idea what to make for dinner. And if you’re anything like me, this is not just a one-time situation.
So preparation is key if we procrastinators are going to solve this ongoing problem. Meet the Meal Planner chalkboard. 🙂

Honestly, I can’t take credit for the idea. I saw a version of this somewhere on Pinterest a while back. But now that I’ve made my own, I couldn’t help but show it off. Hehe!
You can do this a bunch of different ways; using a chalkboard, painting a board with chalkboard paint or, you can do as I did and, paint chalkboard paint on a bulletin board. This way I can stick important notes on when needed.

For the lettering I used my Cricut vinyl-cutting machine, but a good alternative would be to paint with stencils.
The lines are kinda helpful with keeping a clean and organized look. These were made with a straight edge and a white paint marker.
Last but not least, the frame. While I made my own out of weathered wood, you can definitely find a cool old frame to use!

Finally, the frame was attached with wood glue. So I’m curious, what meals would you write on this chalkboard?

Looks great! Meals I would put on it: stir fry, tomato basil bisque, salmon burgers with tzieki, zucchini noodle pasta with meatballs, homemade pizza.
